Tunisia's Ministry of Education launches unified 'Vie scolaire' digital portal
The Tunisian Ministry of Education announced on Monday the activation of the "Vie scolaire" portal as part of a national digital transformation of education. The platform provides a single electronic space where schools, parents and students can exchange information, create citizen accounts linked to a pupil's record, and access services in Arabic and French.
Features include a parent dashboard for monitoring academic data, a professional area for school directors, a FAQ section, an automated chat assistant, and instructional videos. Direct communication channels link users with central education officials and regional supervisors. The ministry also organised regional training sessions for educational staff from 20 to 30 July 2026 to ensure effective use of the new tools. The initiative aims to simplify administrative procedures, improve governance and transparency, and enhance the quality of services for the educational community.
