Tunisia boosts international standards with stock exchange ISO renewals and accreditation council recognition
The Tunis Stock Exchange (Bourse de Tunis) has renewed its ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1 and ISO 22301 certifications for the 2026‑2029 period, confirming high maturity in information security, IT service management and business continuity. The exchange also launched a dedicated Computer Emergency Response Team and joined the global FIRST network of incident‑response teams.
The Tunisian National Accreditation Council (TUNAC) received renewed international recognition, reaffirming Tunisia’s compliance with global standards. As Afef Chachi Tayari, chief of staff to the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, noted, the renewal “confirms the country's conformity to international norms” and will help Tunisian companies improve competitiveness, access foreign markets and attract investment. The announcement was made during World Accreditation Day.
