Tunuyán hosts field hockey clinic with former world champions

Former world champions Silvina “Piti” D’Elía and Rosario “Charo” Luchetti, both former members of the Argentine national field hockey team “Las Leonas,” conducted a training clinic at the Polideportivo Central in Tunuyán.

The event, organized by the Municipality of Tunuyán, brought together players from various local clubs to practice technical skills including passing, receiving, defense, attack, and decision-making. D’Elía, a Mendoza native and Olympic medalist, stated the goal was to share high-performance experience and give back to the sport. While the event saw high interest, organizers noted that limited capacity prevented some participants from attending.
