Turanyum tea inspired by East Turkestan flag debuts in Ankara

A new blueberry and sugar-flavored beverage known as ‘Turanyum tea’ has been introduced to the market in Ankara, Turkey. Produced in Istanbul, the drink is being sold for the first time in Ankara at a bookstore located in the historic Hamamönü district.

The tea is characterized by its distinct blue color, which is intended to evoke the flag of East Turkestan. Mehmet Can Aksu, the operator of the bookstore, stated that the beverage was created to raise awareness for the East Turkestan cause. He noted that the tea has garnered significant interest, particularly among younger customers, due to its unique color and the story behind it.
