Turda Passage modernization contract signed in Bucharest

George Cristian Tuță, the Mayor of Sector 1 in Bucharest, has signed a contract for the design and execution of modernization works for the Turda Passage. The project is expected to last 12 months.

The modernization will go beyond surface repairs to address the structural integrity of the passage. Planned improvements include renewing finishes, stairs, and sidewalks, as well as upgrading lighting, water drainage, and video surveillance systems. Additionally, elevators will be installed at all four entrances to ensure accessibility for elderly individuals, parents with strollers, and people in wheelchairs.
