Turek City Council reviews municipal revitalization program

The Turek City Council has addressed the Municipal Revitalization Program for the Turek Municipality. The document serves as a strategic tool to secure external funding for projects involving infrastructure, education, culture, entrepreneurship, and social improvements within designated areas.

During the council session, discussions arose regarding the methodology used for the initial diagnosis, specifically concerning local labor markets and the education system. An amendment was added to the draft resolution to align it with previous decisions regarding the composition and operation of the Turek Municipal Revitalization Committee.

According to Radosław Szarleja, a representative of the working team, the revitalization process follows current legal standards, which distinguish it from a general city development strategy. The program is focused on specific areas identified through a diagnosis of social problems and involves community participation through meetings, surveys, and consultations.
