Turgutlu Belediyespor to host women's sports and culture launch

Turgutlu Belediyespor will host a new season kit launch event on Sunday, September 6, at the Ekrem Gürel Cultural Center. The event, themed ‘Cultures, Women, and Teams of the Town,’ aims to combine the city's cultural heritage with women's sports.

The ceremony will feature local folk dances alongside the unveiling of the 2026-2027 season uniforms for the Turgutlu Municipality women's basketball and volleyball teams. The basketball team competes in the Halkbank Women's Basketball Super League, while the volleyball team plays in the TVF Women's 2nd League.

Turgutlu Belediyespor President and Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Maliz stated that the event is designed with a unique concept to bring athletes and local culture together on one stage.
