Turgutlu Municipality announces new arts programs and sports season launch
Turgutlu Municipality has announced the start of the winter term for its Children's Culture and Art Centers on September 14. Located in the Mustafa Kemal and Albayrak neighborhoods, these centers offer free preschool education and a three-meal daily nutrition program to support children's physical, social, and cognitive development. Programs include art, handicrafts, music, drama, sports, and gymnastics for children aged 3 to 5.
Additionally, the municipality hosted a launch event titled 'Cultures, Women, and Teams of the Town' to introduce the new season jerseys for its women's basketball and volleyball teams. The Turgutlu Belediyespor Women's Basketball Team is set to compete in the Women's Basketball Super League, making it the only district team in the league from the Aegean Region. The event also featured traditional folk dances from various regions, including Balkan, Roman, and Zeybek performances.
