Turgutlu Municipality to host street theater for children

Turgutlu Municipality is organizing a series of free street theater performances featuring the characters Turgut and Lulu. The events are part of the celebrations for August 30 Victory Day and Liberation Week.

Scheduled from August 31 to September 5, the performances will travel through various neighborhoods to provide accessible entertainment for children. The tour includes stops at local parks, schoolyards, and village squares. The program will conclude on September 5 at the Ekrem Gürel Cultural Center, with free transportation provided from the Turgutlu Municipality service building.

Mayor Çetin Akın stated that the characters were created to become synonymous with the city and to be beloved by local children.
