Turin hosts Roberto Morrione investigative journalism days
The 15th edition of the Roberto Morrione Award and the 3rd edition of the Riccardo Laganà Award will begin in Turin on Thursday, October 29. The event, themed ‘Povere parole’ (Poor words), focuses on the responsibility of language in journalism and the ability to convey modern complexities.
The program features over 60 speakers and 12 free appointments, including the presentation of five unpublished investigations by journalists under the age of 30. Topics of discussion will range from environmental issues and Palestine to the challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
Special recognitions include the Baffo Rosso Award for Massimo Cirri and the Roberto Morrione Witness Award for Paola Caridi. The event concludes on Saturday, October 31, with the official awards ceremony. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Amici di Roberto Morrione in collaboration with Rai and under the patronage of the Piedmont Region.
