Turin opens new inclusion hub for football and social connection
A new inclusion hub has opened in Turin, Italy, dedicated to the organization ‘Insuperabili’. The facility provides a permanent space for individuals to engage with football through various formats, including Subbuteo, foosball, and video games, with the goal of fostering social relationships and community integration.
The hub is part of the ‘Vinciamo Insieme’ national project, promoted by the FIGC-Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND) through its eSport and Virtual Football Department, in collaboration with its social responsibility area. This initiative builds on a partnership established in 2020, when Insuperabili athletes began participating in LND virtual football activities.
Giancarlo Abete, president of the LND, emphasized that while football is an industry, it also serves as a vital social dimension. Davide Leonardi, president of Insuperabili, noted that the hub provides new opportunities for the organization in its home city of Turin.
