A 20-year-old man of Egyptian origin has been arrested in Torino following the aggravated sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy. The incident occurred on September 18 at Parco dell'Arrivore, located in the northern outskirts of the city near the Stura river.

According to investigators, the suspect lured the victim from a residential courtyard by offering him a ride on a scooter. The assault took place in a secluded wooded area of the park. Following the attack, the suspect reportedly took the child to a local minimarket, where he purchased snacks and a drink, while instructing the boy to keep the incident a secret.

The suspect, who is currently homeless and has a criminal record for property crimes, reportedly confessed to the assault, stating he was under the influence of drugs at the time. He was apprehended by the Squadra Mobile and Barriera Nizza police while riding a scooter in the Barriera Nizza district. The arrest was made possible through witness testimony and surveillance camera footage from the surrounding areas.
