Turkcell expands free international roaming for Platinum members

Turkcell has expanded the benefits for its Platinum customers regarding international roaming. The company has increased the duration of its free ‘Tarifen Yurt Dışında Geçerli’ (Your Tariff is Valid Abroad) feature from 7 days to up to 15 days.

Under this updated service, Platinum members can use their existing data (GB), minutes, and SMS allowances in 174 countries without incurring additional fees, mirroring their usage within Turkey. This benefit is automatically applied to eligible customers. Once the free period expires, users can continue to use the roaming feature under standard terms and pricing.

Murat Akgüç, Turkcell Vice President of Marketing and Digital Services, stated that the company is developing solutions to ensure customers can maintain seamless communication abroad just as they do domestically.
