Turkey academic exam results and student placement updates

Various academic and placement processes are underway in Turkey. The ÖSYM has released the results for the 2026 ALES/2 exam, which was conducted on August 2, 2026. Candidates can access their scores via the official ÖSYM system using their identification numbers.

Regarding secondary education, the Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced the results for the second LGS transfer period as of August 14, 2026. Students who were not placed in any high school during the initial placement or the two transfer periods can apply to provincial and district student placement and transfer commissions. These applications are scheduled to take place between August 17 and August 26, 2026, with placements being finalized by August 28.

For higher education and civil service, candidates are awaiting the release of exam entrance documents for the 2026 KPSS Undergraduate exam. The General Ability-General Culture session is scheduled for September 6, 2026, followed by Field Knowledge sessions on September 12 and 13. Results for the KPSS are expected to be announced on October 7, 2026.
