Güler noted that the relationship has reached significant milestones, including the 2014 Strategic Partnership Declaration and the 2022 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He also pointed to the 2015 Free Trade Agreement as a driver for increased economic momentum in trade and investment.

The Minister underscored the importance of defense industry cooperation, noting numerous collaboration agreements signed since 2019. Furthermore, he stated that both nations maintain close cooperation within international organizations such as the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the D-8.
