Turkey and Belgium aim for 15 billion Euro trade target
Turkey and Belgium are working to expand their bilateral trade volume to a target of 15 billion Euro. Following discussions at the EU-Turkey Business Summit in Brussels, officials identified five key sectors for potential cooperation: aviation, health, cosmetics, food, and construction.
Mustafa Akıncılar, President of the DEİK Turkey-Belgium Business Council, announced that the council aims to sign preliminary protocols in these five sectors during a business forum scheduled for December 7. This initiative follows a period where trade volume reached 9.3 billion dollars in 2025. The goal of these sectoral partnerships is to establish a foundation for new commercial agreements and increased mutual investments.
