Turkey is characterized as a major conventional power with significant demographic advantages, maintaining approximately 481,000 active personnel and over 380,000 reservists. The analysis highlights Turkey's growing domestic defense industry, specifically its leadership in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with platforms such as the Bayraktar TB2, TB3, and Kızılelma. In the naval sector, Turkey possesses a significant fleet in the Mediterranean, including frigates, corvettes, submarines, and the TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship.
