Turkey and Moldova Discuss Boosting Bilateral Trade and Defense Cooperation

Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat hosted a Moldovan delegation that included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalisation Eugen Osmochescu and Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatii. The meeting focused on accelerating bilateral trade, developing defence‑industry and technology‑focused strategic partnerships, and increasing mutual investments. Bolat said the two nations’ “prosperity and regional stability” depend on these steps and affirmed a strong vision to take Turkey‑Moldova economic and strategic cooperation further.

Both parties highlighted a shared commitment to expand trade volumes, deepen defence collaboration, and attract joint investment, signalling a deeper economic and security link between Turkey and Moldova.
