Turkey and TRNC strengthen security and crime fighting cooperation

Turkish General Director of Security Ali Fidan conducted his first official visit to the TRNC, meeting with Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz to discuss strengthening security cooperation. The discussions focused on establishing a coordinated working system to combat crime and criminals more effectively.

Key topics included enhancing existing security ties, improving infrastructure and modern systems, strengthening migration and border gates, and increasing mutual information sharing. Minister Oğuz emphasized the importance of the close relationship between the two ministries and police forces in maintaining internal security and fighting organized crime.
