Turkey and UAE non-oil trade reaches $45.2 billion amid Dubai tourism growth
Economic and tourism ties between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) continue to expand, with non-oil trade volume reaching $45.2 billion in 2025, a 15.5% increase from the previous year. This growth has positioned Turkey as the UAE’s fifth-largest non-oil trading partner.
Dubai’s tourism sector has also reached significant milestones, recording 19.59 million international visitors in 2025, marking its third consecutive year of record-breaking numbers. During this period, hotel occupancy rates reached 80.7%, and Dubai International Airport (DXB) handled a record 95.2 million passengers. Passenger traffic connected to Turkey saw a 6.7% increase, totaling 2.2 million travelers.
To explore these growing opportunities, BTB Tours, in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), will host a meeting for Turkish tourism professionals in Dubai from October 1–4, 2026. The event aims to evaluate Dubai’s new tourism strategies and foster business collaborations in sectors including aviation, hospitality, and events.
