Turkey announces 2026 university registration and dormitory application dates

University registration and dormitory application processes for the 2026 academic year have been announced in Turkey.

University registration for students who placed via YKS will take place from August 24 to August 28, 2026. Electronic registration (e-kayıt) via the e-Devlet portal is available from August 24 to August 26, 2026, for state universities and participating foundation or TRNC institutions. Students opting for electronic registration can obtain a barcoded document upon successful completion.

KYK dormitory applications for new students will be conducted through e-Devlet from August 25 to August 29, 2026. Applications for continuing students will also be processed online. Separate application periods will be announced later for specific groups, including those placed through additional quotas, horizontal or vertical transfers, graduate students, and those with special talent placements.
