Turkey announces auction of eight public properties in six provinces

The Turkish Treasury and Finance Ministry’s Privatization Administration published a notice in the Official Gazette detailing the sale of eight public properties located in Polatlı (Ankara), Tepebaşı (Eskişehir), Eyüpsultan (Istanbul), Arifiye (Sakarya), Ergani (Diyarbakır) and Alanya (Antalya). Bidding for the assets will be accepted between July 21 and July 23, 2026, with minimum prices ranging from 7,500 to 25,000 Turkish lira and required deposits between 3.5 million and 20 million lira. The auctions will be conducted by a closed‑envelope negotiation method, with the possibility of a final open‑bid round.

The administration also confirmed approval for the sale of two other properties: a plot in Taşucu, Silifke district of Mersin sold to Abdulbaki Evcil for 32.1 million lira, and a parcel in Gümüşdere, Sarıyer district of Istanbul sold to Fatih Düzgün for 23.25 million lira. The Eskişehir parcel, a 5,691.60‑square‑metre lot in Yukarısöğütönü neighbourhood, will be offered under the same negotiation procedure, with eligibility extended to individuals, legal entities, cooperatives, foundations, real‑estate funds and NGOs. Payment may be made in full or in installments, with at least 40 % due up‑front and the remainder payable over up to 48 months at 30 % simple annual interest.
