Turkey announces contract‑staff hiring at İzmir University and aviation authority
The İzmir Democracy University rectorate published a decision in the Official Gazette to employ seven contract personnel. The positions will be filled under the 657 Law on State Employees, using the KPSS B‑group score ranking. Applicants may apply online via e‑Devlet until 19 July 2026, with final appointment results to be announced on 31 July 2026. General eligibility includes meeting the statutory requirements of the law, not receiving a pension, and passing a security clearance.
Separately, a Turkish public institution will recruit one pilot and one aircraft‑control machinist without requiring a KPSS score. Candidates must hold the relevant aviation licences, meet specific flight‑hour and English‑language criteria, and pass a security background check. Applications are accepted through the Career Portal from 13 July to 20 July 2026, with selection based on an oral exam and a ranking of scores. Successful candidates will be assigned according to descending scores, with reserves appointed as needed.
