Turkey announces planned electricity outages in Trabzon and Uşak

On July 18 2026, electricity distributors in Turkey will carry out scheduled interruptions in multiple districts of the Trabzon and Uşak provinces. In Trabzon, cuts will affect the Arpalı neighbourhood of Köprübaşı (09:00‑17:00), two periods in Aykut neighbourhood of Düzköy (09:00‑16:30 and 14:30‑16:30), several neighbourhoods in Vakfıkebir, Çaykara, Arsın and Maçka, with some outages lasting up to eight hours. A brief night‑time interruption (01:00‑02:00) is planned for Darıca, Kavaklı and Salacık in Akçaabat.

In Uşak, the distributor OEDAŞ listed a series of neighbourhoods in the city centre and surrounding districts for outages between roughly 09:30 and 17:00, with the possibility of early completion and restoration. All interruptions are described as necessary for investment, maintenance or repair work, and residents have been advised to prepare accordingly.
