Turkey announces public tenders for university cafeteria food and police fish supply

Hacettepe University’s Health, Culture and Sports Department in Ankara issued an open tender (record No. 2026/10400441) for the purchase of vegetables and fruit, designated as item (36). The contract, to be awarded under the 4734 Public Procurement Law, requires delivery to university cafeterias by 31 December 2026, with proposals to be submitted by 30 June 2026. Only domestic suppliers may participate, and the award will be based on the lowest price.

The İzmir Jandarma Supply Center announced a separate open tender (record No. 2026/8785501) for the procurement of fish—4,800 kg of levrek and 1,500 kg of çipura. Bids are to be filed by 7 July 2026, and the resulting contract will run from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027, with monthly deliveries. As with the university tender, participation is limited to Turkish firms and the award will be decided on price alone.
