Turkey announces student support and university placements

Following the announcement of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) placement results, various support measures have been highlighted for students entering university.

In Antalya, the Metropolitan Municipality is preparing to support students through five dedicated dormitories, including the Kültür Higher Education dormitories for both men and women, the Gülveren Şengül Çiftçioğlu dormitory, and facilities in Akseki. These accommodations aim to provide safe and affordable housing for students moving to the city from other provinces.

Additionally, the Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that 258 young people who grew up under state protection or with foster families have successfully placed into universities. Among these students, seven ranked within the top 10,000 in the national exam results.
