Turkey awards electrical works contracts for Karadeniz region and Istanbul City Lines

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense’s General Directorate of Shipyards announced an open tender (IKN 2026/12255271) for the complete repair of the electric installations of the Karadeniz Region Command. The contract will be awarded through the electronic procurement platform EKAP, with a delivery period of 60 calendar days after contract signing.

Separately, Istanbul Şehir Hatları Turizm Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. issued an open tender (IKN 2026/11773671) to purchase 800,000 kWh of low‑voltage electricity for its facilities. The supplier will deliver uninterrupted power for 12 months, commencing after the first index is set by EPİAŞ. Both tenders follow the provisions of Turkey’s Public Procurement Law No. 4734.
