Turkey boosts fire safety with training in Mersin and mobile stations in Tekirdağ

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department organized a fire‑safety training and practical drill for women producers at the Hamzabeyli Village workshop. Participants learned about fire causes, classifications, on‑site actions and proper use of extinguishers, improving safety in the workshop.

Meanwhile, the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality deployed six mobile fire stations across the city to shorten response times during the high‑risk summer period. The stations, equipped with modern vehicles and staff, operate 24/7 to protect residents and visitors from fire hazards.
