Turkey celebrates major cultural festivals in Inegöl and Van

The 39th International Culture and Art Festival in Inegöl attracted more than 200,000 visitors over a week of performances, exhibitions and workshops. The event featured local and foreign folk‑dance ensembles from nine countries, including Bashkortostan, Bosnia‑Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Northern Cyprus, Malaysia and Egypt, as well as concerts, children’s activities, market stalls and a tent village showcasing traditions of 22 cultural associations.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s Van Culture Road Festival concluded after nine days with a final concert by singer Bayhan at Atatürk Culture Park. The Van program combined music, art exhibitions, gastronomy and family‑friendly events, drawing large crowds before the broader Turkey Culture Road series moves to Konya for its next phase.
