Turkey-China business ties expand through Jiangxi Province meetings

Ihsan Beser, President of the Turkey-China Business Development and Support Association, conducted meetings in China to strengthen bilateral commercial ties. Alongside the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Economic and Trade Exchange Center, Beser met with Chen Zhimin, Secretary General of the Jiangxi Province Department of Commerce.

The discussions focused on facilitating connections between Turkish association members and Chinese firms. Key sectors identified for mutual trade and cooperation include high technology, mining, textiles, and food.

Jiangxi officials expressed support for Turkish businesses seeking direct engagement within the Chinese market. Officials noted that the Jiangxi Department of Commerce oversees 1,644 companies that export to 228 countries, with 81 of these firms currently ranked globally. Special projects are also underway to bring approximately 190 more local companies into global rankings.
