Turkey clarifies e-Okul registration for students with address verification issues

School administrations and parents in Turkey have clarified the procedures for student registration via the e-Okul system for those unable to complete address and consent verification due to document discrepancies or missing information. This process is designed to prevent students from being subject to district lotteries.

The registration process involves a six-step method within the e-Okul Institution Operations menu. Administrators must select students with the status ‘Awaiting Final Registration’ and ‘Consented,’ then specify the reason as ‘Student Who Has Not Completed the Consented Address Verification Process.’

A critical step in the digital process is a one-time warning box that displays the student's newly assigned school; this information must be recorded immediately as it is only visible once. To ensure the process is legally valid, parents must provide a wet-ink signed approval form to the school administration.
