Turkey completes sale of two Eskişehir government lands for 602 million lira

A presidential decree, published in the Official Gazette on 19 June 2026, authorized the sale of two state‑owned parcels in the Yukarısöğütönü neighbourhood of Tepebaşı, Eskişehir. The 16,934.94 m² parcel (plot 26302) was awarded to Özgün Matbaacılık Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ for 232 million lira, while the 24,411.52 m² parcel (plot 26298) fetched 370 million lira from the same bidder. The total transaction value is 602 million lira.

The Privatization Administration (Özelleştirme İdaresi Başkanlığı) was tasked with signing the sale contracts and overseeing implementation. The decree stipulates that if the buyer defaults or refuses to sign the contracts, the pledged deposit will be retained by the Treasury and the tender may be cancelled.
