Turkey controls two-thirds of global UAV market, says Minister

Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that Turkey currently controls two-thirds of the global unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market. Speaking during visits in Kırklareli, Kacır highlighted the international attention being paid to Turkey's defense industry successes.

He noted that various domestic platforms, including Bayraktar, Akıncı, Anka, Aksungur, Hürkuş, Hürjet, Atak, Gökbey, Kaan, and Kızılelma, are establishing Turkey's presence in the skies. Kacır emphasized that the nation is reaching a level where it can meet nearly all critical defense industry needs through its own domestic capabilities and technological advancements.
