Turkey cuts gasoline price by 53 kurşuk per litre on 6 June 2026

On 6 June 2026 Turkey’s Energy Market Regulating Authority applied a 0.53 TL (53 kurşuk) discount to the retail price of gasoline. The reduction, reflecting the recent drop in Brent crude to about $93 a barrel and the implementation of the Eşel mobile pricing system, was passed on to stations, while diesel (motorin) and LPG prices remained unchanged.

At the start of the day, the discounted gasoline price in Istanbul’s European side was 62.97 TL per litre, with Ankara listing it at 63.92 TL and Izmir at 64.20 TL. Diesel prices stayed near 66 TL per litre and LPG around 32 TL per litre in the three cities. The pricing formula continues to be based on the duty‑free refinery price, plus excise tax, market regulator fees and VAT, adjusted for the daily USD exchange rate.
