Turkey detains teenager over violent threat video

Turkish authorities have detained a 16-year-old individual, identified as M. F. Ç., following the viral spread of a video containing violent threats against Muslims, women wearing headscarves, children, and animals.

The suspect reportedly used a VPN and voice-altering technology to attempt to conceal their identity while making explicit threats of violence and sexual assault. Despite these measures, the Cyber Crimes Department successfully identified the individual through technical investigations.

The incident sparked widespread public outrage on social media, with citizens calling on the Ministry of Interior and law enforcement to take immediate action. Investigations are ongoing to determine if there are any other individuals connected to the suspect.
