Turkey distributes 4.1 billion lira in agricultural subsidies
Turkey's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced the distribution of 4.108 billion lira in agricultural and livestock support payments to farmers. The funds are being transferred to producers' accounts to ensure the sustainability of agricultural production.
The largest portion of the funding is allocated to livestock support. Specifically, 4.051 billion lira is designated for calf (buzağı) support, while 45.8 million lira is allocated for malak support.
Additional funds are directed toward plant production, including 5.7 million lira for basic plant production support and 5.2 million lira for planned production support.
