Turkey fuel prices rise after brief June discount

On 2 June 2026 Turkey’s gasoline (64.31 TL/l) and diesel/mazut (67.02 TL/l) prices remained unchanged, with no new price hike announced despite fluctuations in international crude and exchange rates.

A brief discount that ended on 2 June is expected to be followed by a price increase from the night of 3 June. Industry estimates indicate the rise will add about 0.47 TL per litre to gasoline and 0.98 TL per litre to diesel. The government’s “Eşel Mobile” system is planned to absorb part of the increase, limiting the pump‑price rise to roughly 0.47 TL for gasoline and 0.98 TL for diesel, yielding projected prices of around 63‑64 TL for gasoline and 66‑68 TL for diesel in major cities.
