Turkey Health Ministry Announces 2026 Personnel Hiring Timeline

Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu said the Ministry of Health will recruit 26,673 staff—including 22,983 specialist doctors, 3,652 doctors, 25 health technicians, 9 midwives, 2 nurses and 1 dietitian—after the September 2026 KPSS exam. Applications are expected to be posted in early December, with the selection process based solely on KPSS scores for health personnel and on İŞKUR recruitment for cleaning, security and support staff, without any interviews.

Memişoğlu noted that the 2024 KPSS led to the hiring of 47,000 non‑medical staff and that the 2026 hiring will target candidates who graduated between 2024 and 2026. The detailed position numbers and eligibility criteria will be published in the ÖSYM preference guide after the exam results.
