Turkey announces July 2026 payment dates for increased civil servant and pensioner salaries

The Turkish government confirmed the July 2026 salary adjustments for public‑sector workers and retirees. Based on TÜİK’s June inflation data, civil servants receive a 13.52 % raise, while SSK and Bağ‑Kür pensioners get a 17.76 % increase. Payment dates are tied to allocation‑number digits: SSK retirees will be paid between 17 and 26 July, Bağ‑Kür retirees between 25 and 28 July, and civil‑service salaries are scheduled for 15 July. A separate 14‑day “difference” payment for civil employees is expected in the third week of July. The lowest pension level has been proposed at 23 552 TL, though the figure has not yet been finalized. Retirees have expressed that the increase is insufficient, citing living costs that can exceed 40 000 TL per month, and demanding a higher baseline amount.
