Turkey implements stationery support programs for students

Various regional initiatives in Turkey are providing stationery support to students to assist with educational needs.

In Gaziantep, the Governorate is coordinating the ‘Student Stationery Card Shopping Voucher Project.’ This initiative provides students in need with shopping cards valued at 1,250 TL, which can be used at authorized stationery businesses registered with the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce and the Printers' Chamber. Governor Kemal Çeber stated that the project has reached approximately 28,000 cards so far, utilizing a fund of nearly 40 million TL. The program aims to support both low-income families and local tradespeople.

In the Küre district of Kastamonu, the Küre District Governorate collaborated with a local mining company, Eti Bakır, to distribute school supplies. Local officials, including District Governor Hasan Çakır and Mayor Salih Turan, met with students to deliver essential items such as notebooks and pens to support their academic preparations.
