Turkey Informatics Awards 2026 applications open

Applications have opened for the Turkey Informatics Awards 2026, an initiative organized by the Turkish Informatics Association under the auspices of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications. The program aims to support innovative projects developed by public institutions through information technology and to highlight successes in digital transformation.

The central theme for this year is ‘Trust, Data, and Perception in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.’ The competition will focus on three primary pillars: data sovereignty, algorithm sovereignty, and perception sovereignty. Key areas of interest include combating disinformation, information verification platforms, domestic and secure digital infrastructures, and Turkish-language decision support systems.

Projects will be evaluated across five distinct categories: • Services from public to public • Services from public to private sector • Services from public to citizens • Renewed projects • E-municipality solutions

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 22 at the Presidency's Directorate of Communications Conference Hall.
