Turkey initiates 790 million TL tourism project in Ayder Plateau

Construction has commenced on a 790 million TL tourism development project in the Ayder Plateau, located in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. Managed by the Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ), the project aims to expand the region's accommodation and event capacity.

The development includes the construction of three boutique hotels, each featuring 24 rooms for a total of 72 rooms and 144 beds, alongside a new conference hall to support congress tourism. The project also encompasses infrastructure and landscaping works.

Expected to be completed within 24 months, the initiative is projected to create 100 permanent jobs during the construction phase and 45 permanent positions during the operational period of the hotels and conference center. This project is a continuation of the urban transformation and protection efforts in Ayder that began in 2019.
