Bursa municipality opens three new artificial‑turf pitches for Bursaspor youth academy

The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality inaugurated three artificial‑turf football fields at the Bursaspor Özlüce Sports Complex. Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba, AK Party provincial chair Davut Gürkan, Bursaspor president Enes Çelik and local officials attended the ceremony. Biba emphasized that Bursaspor is a key city brand and that modern training facilities are essential for developing young talent. Çelik thanked the municipality, noting the new pitches will help nurture future players and presented the club’s “Fetih” season jersey commemorating the city’s 700‑year anniversary.

The project is part of Bursa’s broader effort to strengthen its reputation as a sports city by investing in infrastructure that supports youth participation and competitive success.
