Turkey investigates suspicious UAV objects found in Düzce and Arnavutköy

Multiple suspicious objects, suspected to be unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), have been discovered in different parts of Turkey.

In the Akçakoca district of Düzce, a suspicious object fell into a hazelnut orchard in Yeşilköy Village. The Düzce Governorate reported that security forces secured the area and launched a judicial investigation. Experts are currently working to determine the technical specifications and nature of the object.

Separately, in the Arnavutköy district, citizens walking along the Yeniköy coast discovered an object believed to be a UAV washed ashore. Local gendarmerie and Coast Guard teams responded to the scene. There are preliminary assessments that the object may be related to the Russia-Ukraine war. The item has been transferred to the Coast Guard Command for detailed technical examination to determine its origin and characteristics.
