Turkey KYK scholarship and loan application dates pending

Students in Turkey are awaiting the announcement of the 2026-2027 academic year KYK scholarship and student loan application dates. As of late August 2026, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has not yet released an official schedule.

Based on previous years, where applications opened on October 13 and closed on October 17, expectations suggest that the application period may begin in mid-October.

Eligible applicants include students enrolling in higher education programs for the first time, continuing students, and Turkish citizens studying abroad. Applications must be submitted via the e-Devlet portal. It is critical for students to verify that their educational information is correctly updated in the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS) through e-Devlet, as incorrect or incomplete data may lead to invalid applications.
