Turkey launches 2026-27 school registration through e‑Okul and e‑Devlet

The Turkish Ministry of National Education has opened the automatic, address‑based registration for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Primary first‑grade and middle‑school fifth‑grade students will be placed in the nearest school via the e‑Okul system, with results queryable on the Ministry’s portal or through e‑Devlet using the child’s ID and school number.

Orientation (uyum) sessions for new first‑graders and preschoolers are scheduled for 7‑11 September 2026, and the first day of classes for all grades begins on Monday, 14 September 2026. Parents wishing to request a transfer after the automatic placement must follow the Ministry’s transfer procedures, which consider address changes, school capacity and regulatory criteria.
