Turkey launches grant support for disabled and former convicts

The Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security has launched the fifth period of grant support for 2026, aimed at helping individuals with disabilities and former convicts establish their own businesses. The program focuses on social integration and increasing the participation of disadvantaged groups in production processes.

Financial support limits have been established for various project types. Individuals with disabilities can receive up to 735,000 lira for business startup projects, while former convicts are eligible for up to 550,000 lira. Additionally, the maximum capital support for protected workplace projects has been set at 905,000 lira.

Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that the application process has been digitized via the e-Devlet platform to reduce bureaucracy and accelerate procedures. The deadline for submitting applications is September 16.
