Turkey's Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, has launched 'İyilik Var,' a new digital volunteering platform designed to foster social solidarity across the country.

Introduced at an event in Istanbul, the platform includes a website and a mobile application. A key component is the 'İyilik Kapısı' (Gate of Kindness) feature, which will allow tradesmen across 81 provinces to offer their products, services, and expertise to citizens in need. The initiative aims to connect individual and institutional volunteers with specific needs identified by the Ministry's provincial directorates and affiliated organizations.

Minister Göktaş stated that the platform is intended to reach 86 million citizens, aiming to digitize and expand volunteering efforts. She emphasized that the project supports the social state model by providing assistance to various groups, including women, children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
