Turkey launches new airport bus routes to Ayvalık, Edremit and Bursa
Starting 1 August 2026, Havaist will operate direct shuttle services between Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the western coastal towns of Ayvalık and Edremit. Ticket sales for the new line are already open, and the service is intended to give travelers seamless, “no‑transfer” access to these popular summer destinations.
On the same day, Bursa’s public‑transport operator BURULAŞ will end its BBBUS shuttle to Yenişehir Airport. The former ticketed service will be replaced by an updated 80/T city‑bus line running from the Bursa Terminal through key city stops to the airport. Online ticket sales are cancelled; passengers will pay with contactless cards, BursaKart or cash on board. Both changes aim to simplify airport access and adapt to rising passenger demand.
