Turkey launches 'The Knot: Gateway to Anatolia' mini‑series to showcase Anatolian heritage

The Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) has begun production of a new Go Turkey mini‑series titled *The Knot: Gateway to Anatolia*. The six‑episode drama stars actors Serkan Çayoğlu and Sıla Türkoğlu, with Levent Özdilek playing a professor. Directed by Yunus Ozan Korkut and scripted by Melih Özyılmaz and Elif Türker, filming is taking place in Ankara and Eskişehir, featuring sites such as Anıtkabir, the Presidential Library, museums, archaeological locations and regional gastronomy.

The series follows two art‑history scholars competing for an academic position, using their research to explore Anatolia’s millennia‑old cultural and historical legacy. It aims to promote Turkey’s cultural tourism abroad, building on the Go Turkey brand that has already amassed 8.3 billion views and 4.9 billion watches worldwide.
